When purchasing my Valentine some scratch tickets, I purchased one additional ticket and gave it to a stranger. It was fun to see their surprised expression as I wished them a Happy Valentines Day. I hope it set the tone for the rest of their day!

I have been Door Dashing on the weekend a lot of times I end up having to do shopping orders at grocery stores. I have this 1 older woman who I always end up shopping for and when I see her name I get so happy she is the sweetest little thing! She lives and an elderly living facility and typically you would just hand people their orders and walk away but for her I make conversation about her week, talk about her favorite ice cream (which seems to never be in stock) and even carry her groceries into her room and put them on the counter for her. As she has a cane, I don't want her to hurt herself. She appreciates my company and when she sees me, she says "I was hoping it was going to be you!" It warms my heart as she lives alone that I can give her a little piece of my time and help her not only get the food she needs but ease the physical burden as well.

Helping a friend battle cancer.

While waiting for my to go order for lunch I had noticed another customer ask for a tray to carry her plates to her table. Since no trays were available, I helped her carry her meals. I overheard her say she needed to take a second trip anyway so rather than three trips total, I helped her cut that down.
